Today kicked oiff with a quick breakfast and another chat with the local drug lord. After John burned him we started our ride towards Nanuturra Road House which is our intended destination. (At this stage) The day kicks in with around 32 degrees but I had frozen my hydro pack so I was expecting cool drinking all the way. About 104 ks South we stopped at Fortescue Roadhouse. An exceptional little spot with absolutely everytghing in stock. John had a six dollar coffee but said it tasted like 3.50. Not to worry too much we kept on our way and the temp soon hit its usual mark of 40 ish. After 270 ks we landed in Nanuturra. It is apparently under new management due to the poor reviews it had received earlier. Apparently the new management got rid of all the good stuff the roadhouse had previously and replaced it with more bad s***. The camp ground absolutely stunk of the sewerage system. The decision was made and it now became a 670 kilometre day. We rebottled our water supply and headed south again. It was another 220 ks to the next break at Minilya Roadhouse. This was a little better so we had a quick bite to eat and watched 10 minutes of the grand final before heading off doing more important things. It remained at 40 degrees and the worst was we got held up at roadworks for 15 minutes whilst the moved a truck. We were cooking sitting in the middle of the road. Got going again and finally at 4.00 we landed in Carnarvon. Seems quite nice and we stayed at the Plantation Big 4. Set up camp and discussed unintelligable topics with a few bogans before riding into town to have a beer from the tap. Hence the photo. Unfortunately Apple products put photos the way they want them and be b*****ed if you can fix it up. We grabbed fish and chips and set a plan for what to do on our day off tomorrow.

George Good going boys. Finally got some decent weather in Vic so headed to the beach till today. Anything "BIG" in Carnarvan? Enjoying your blogs, but glad I'm not riding in that heat. There will be nothing of you guys by the time you get home.
