So we arrive for lunch at beautiful downtown Barringun which is the NSW town closest to the QLD border. We met Darryl our one armed chef who prepared a lovely lunch for us. Also Eric the adventurous truck driver who went outside and got attacked by Darryl's dog. With quite an extensive loss of blood we enjoyed our lunch as Daryl assisted Eric in patching up his wounds.

Got into Cobar at around 2.30 again. The road was excellent and had a lot of nice pitch grass alongside. This may also be responsible for the huge amount of dead roos and goats alongside the road.
