The days ride is at an end by 11.30. With temperatures heading up close to 40 just gets too hot on the bike. Today marks past the halfway mark of the trip. From here its all the way home for the next few weeks. Sandfire is dustbowl oasis in the middle of nowhere. If not found murdered by the morning we should get an early start towards Port Hedland.

Shirley I hope you have gone for a motel room/cabin instead of camping tonight. I think you both deserve it! A couple more days of hot weather and then it should be more pleasant.
