Left 7.00 this morning. Said goodbye to Koe on his KTM who is staying to get a repair job done on his front sprocket seal. Also stopped by Julian and Chris's van before stopping at Canle beach for a few pictures. Fueled up and head east back to the south bound road some 30 ks out of Broome. Took the right hand turn and started to head south for the first time. Suddenly the heat went from 30 to 38 degrees in a matter of 100 ks. This area is quite isolated and there didn't appear to be a spot where we could stop under sime shade. Finally after 200 ks we found an area off to the left tha had some nice shade. On top of that the wind was nice under the shelter. With only a 130 ks to go we stopped here for a while to re energise.
