I will never understand the British weather - it's no wonder it fills our conversation! High winds and rain this evening. How can two days be so different? At times I was blown to a standstill. And more importantly I nearly lost my cap - twice!! I guess this is very good training. Can't say I wasn't glad to get home PS Two months tomorow we start!

Some days were made for running! What a difference blue sky, white clouds, sunshine and 2 days rest can make. Could have run forever today! The cloud has lifted. Enjoyed 13 miles along the Thames this morning and didn't want to turn for home - running in T shirt and shorts for the first time in months! This is why I run. I guess we knew the day was comming! JT fine but my legs were very heavy today - managed 14 miles in 2.31.41 but it was sluggish and hard (especially all the hills - it was very hilly) but I guess it's what we have to get used to. I'm only telling you this so you know I'm not superhuman and it's not easy!! We've clocked 74 miles in 7 days. Definitely worth sponsoring!
