A final run around the playground before we left Donnybrook. Tully got his wish this morning and had the whole place to himself. A brief stop at Gnomesville, a quirky spot before Bunbury where thousands of gnomes have been placed. We think it's tradition to bring one and leave it behind but we weren't that organised. Strangely enough we found one named Tully, so figured that was good enough. Managed to chip our windscreen on this road. Was destined to happen but we had hoped it wouldn't be quite so soon into the trip. Will leave it until it gets worse and replace down the track. Stopped briefly in Bunbury and then for lunch by the water in Mandurah. This was by no means the sleepy town Jarrod and I remember from our trip here 10 years ago. It really has become where the other half live, with private marinas attached to enormous homes. We finally made it through Perth out to Karinyup, relieved to be stopping for a few days to catch up with friends.
