The Howlett's Travels
Decide to have another day in Exmouth and finally left this morning. Had the day yesterday relaxing with another swim for Tully. We also visited the Mildura ship wreck, visible in the water from land. The ship ran aground in 1907 after getting caught in a cyclone. Today we are on the road again, initially bound for Bullara Station stay only 70km from Exmouth but once moving we figured we could get further and decided on a free camp on the bank of a dry river about an extra 130km on. As we travelled today we could hear chatter on the two way from the circling whale shark spotter planes. Strange picking that up as we traveled away from the coast. Free camp was a great spot for a cook up and camp fire.
