After staying at Fitzroy Crossing we decided it was time to move on. Halls Creek was our destination but after stopping for fuel we decided it didn't have much to offer. Quick stop at the visitor centre where we found a statue of 'Russian Jack'. Russian Jack was known for wheeling a sick friend 300km in a wheelborrow to seek medical attention - no roads to follow back in the 1890's! We continued on to find a great little camp spot near the turn off to the Purnululu National Park (Bungle Bungles).
