The picture is of wild camping on the last night in France - well at least for this trip.
In the morning took Sach for her final walk on the beach at Perhariday which she loved.
Left at Midday and temporarily parked at the Aires on the way to Roscoff. Considered stopping there as it is just across the road from a beach but decided against it as it seemed quite crowded. Went to do a little walk and found myself in a little botanical garden with an interesting selection of animals and birds. Even had some wallabies apart from goats, sheep, ponies and different types of waterfowl.
Moved on to explore Roscoff which is a pretty port but not much there which is nice in its own way. Went up to the little chapel of St Barbe which the 'johnnies', the onion sailors, would acknowledge on their way across the channel to England. Sat in the lee of the wind by the chapel overlooking the sea and enjoyed my leftover chicken and salad for lunch.
I had sussed out the port to see if I could sleep there overnight as it was an early start. My son suggested it might be noisy so I reconsidered and ended up finding the perfect place. Just round the corner from the ferry port was a piece of flat ground with some shade of required. It had a barrier which stopped the bigger motor homes entering so I was alone there all night. It was sheltered and peaceful so I had a good nights sleep.
That is the end of the France blog for now.
