The photo is of Blenheim near Oxford as i don't have any France pictures.
I had left my table and chair under a tree and had visualised having breakfast with coffee and baguette but the weather had changed to a very damp mist which got into everything.
With Sat Nav settings at scenic route and avoiding expressways, the journey is slower but so much more interesting. Some of the roads are good asphalt but only single track. The route today took me through fields and forests with Luxembourg on the left. Last night the stop was by the river Oise and today we were cross crossing the Aire.
Didn't see any McDonalds or big supermarkets along the way.
Dear Sat nav found me a Carrefour Supermarket which I would never have found without it. Diesel was the cheapest I have seen at €1.32 a litre. Whilst there I bought some brown bread, goats cheese, prawns, tomatoes etc which I had for lunch and supper.
I am suffering with a painful right shoulder and the shingles on the left side is still sore.
Now am in a free Aires beside a pleasant peaceful lake although earlier some kids were playing with firecrackers which freaked Sacha out.
Almost 200 miles and the van is filthy.
