At Buncrana I treated myself to a manicure with glittery nail polish and a delicious lunch at Oscar's. Also I had my hair chopped at a barber shop which was rough but still an improvement on the expensive hairdresser at home.

re: Longyearbyen, Svalbard and Jan MayenTina I haven't watched that programme either but learnt about the Øresund Bridge from a song by the Manic Street Preachers 'walk me to the bridge'- they said they wrote it as crossing that bridge gave you an out of body experience of leaving one place and arriving in another- each to their own I suppose but always wanted to cross it after that! Don't suppose you experienced that? I'm sure you are enjoying it though x

re: Rutland, VermontJane Hi Char, good to hear of your travels. I'm in a very damp Liskeard for 2 weeks staying with a darling little 91yr old lady slightly confused, just lost her husband. Its a beautiful place; I'm looking out the window from my bed, waiting for her to wake up, fab view over the countryside and a massive rainbow at the moment. Take care travel safe and see you soon xx
