Having looked at WikiCamps and deciding on a couple of free camps to try we were disappointed to find them full of grey nomads and this was at midday.
We travelled on north of Townsville to Rollingstone Beach and stayed at a really nice park. We set up the camper and took a walk along the beach dipping my toes in the water just on sunset. This is what holidays are all about.
