All up early again today and drove back down the beach to visit Lake Wabby. we parked on the beach and had to walk half an hour through the forest to get to lake wabby. THis lake is much smaller than Lake Mckenzie and there was a big sanddune one side of the lake. swam in this lake and swam across to the other side. Fraser island is the worlds largers sand island, therefore there are no proper roads unless at a few of the resorts. the main road is on the 75 mile beach on the east of the island. HOwever we are only allowed on the beach at certain times due to the tide. Did a three day self drive tour of Fraser Island.
