After a long long drive from Cooper Pedy we arrived in Yulara the headquaters for Uluru and Kata Tjuta national park. We were able to see Uluru as we were getting closer to the park. First day of work wasnt too bad. packing mangoes is harder than i imagined especially in the heat and humidity. Left Darwin today with my friend Fran i met in Berri and 8 others to start work on a mango farm at Berry Springs. First stop was Mary River where we went on a boat on the billabong there. it is home to freshwater and saltwater crocodiles. saw a few of both and a turtle and some big water birds. later we went to Ubirr to view the aborignal rock art, which was really good.
