Left CC early again and headed towards the Queensland Border. Soon the road turned into a 4wd track, and didnt meet many cars along here! we had to cross alot of rivers but as they were shallow (being near the end of the dry season) we got out and walked across them to stretch our legs and cool down. we drove past more cows and desert and Aborignal Communities (that we didnt see but we told that they were there)and eventually crossed the border into QLD and out our clokcs forward half an hour. We stopped for lunch at Hells Gate Roadhouse (the first building we came across) and headed into Lawn Hill Cattle Station. WE drove through their station all afternoon and past their homestead until we arrived at Adels Grove. This is a campsite area near a creek. WE all went swimming in there when we arrived. After roast beef and apple crumble for dinner we took a walk down to the creek to see if we could spot any wildlife but we didnt.
