Hey, Wanna to say Happy Masharami Day to everyone of u! :D It is a huge hit in Guyana, and Caribbean as i am sure that u know all about Trinidad carnival, one of the biggest carnival in the world!! But Guyana is f***ing huge too!! :D Everyone was up very early on mash day!! getting themselves together and set up tents and place all the way where the mash are occuring!! it will go past the main road which it is few seconds walk away from my house!! easy life as we can see the march from our balcony! but we went to join the crowd and huge group of the volunteers who came together at my house and annestijn house (she lives next door) before go out together to see the mash day. We left our houses at 11am and the road was so packed with tents, food stalls, people, many others things! it was amazing to see everyone in carnival mood!! lots of colours, association with Guyana colours!! and the first float came around half 11, our friends was on that float, I joined his float and did some dance!! lol but was brief tho!! then we walked further down the road, bumped into one deaf man. told him that he can join us! (he is one with darth varder mask!) we had a brilliant time together, chatting, bought candy floss, havent had one for AGES!! and watching the floats, every floats are different and creatives!! the best float i would say is BANKS DIH!! it is a brewery company and they are very huge company so they made the best float i seen for the day! lots of colours and different forms of floats!! :D but all floats are great in their own ways! We stayed and watch for 3 hours until our legs are tiring away!! more and more floats are coming but we all are worn out from standing up!! lol we went back to our houses and i went to JR burgers for a meal with some of the volunteers! we had a brilliant day out and some of us went out to celebrate after mash party! i didnt go cos i was totally worn out and have no energy left!!
