Had a lie in today and then headed off on the road to Dunedin, along the way we headed to see boulder beach. Parked up at the car park and started to walk down the path to the beach to be greeted by a sign charging 2dollars to see the boulders, the one thing that annoys me most in the world is folk thinking they can charge people to see natural things, totally ignoring the sign we went down to beach and played on the boulders for a while. Headed off from Geraldine as it was crap, decided to head to the small town of Mount Cook which was beside the highest Mountain in New Zealand of the same name. Up the next morning and on to Christchurch to pick up some stuff from the rental company, we were coming back to Christchurch before flying to Melbourne so we decided not to stay long. Up early thins morning to drive to the terminal to catch the ferry to the south island. Ferry left at 7:30am and luckily it was quite a nice day.
