Awake nice and early for the longest day of our lives. At 19.15 we fly to San Francisco where it’ll still be 23rd July but it’ll be 12.15. Our day is 41 hours long today with the time differences. We woke up pretty early and got breakfast, we want to be in Auckland city centre for 9.00am as we’d like to get the ferry to Rangitoto Island. We woke up pretty early and got on the road for just after sunrise about 8.00am. We chose a route which was a little out of the way but it paid off for the views. We were up early and ready for the beach this morning, we drove the ten minutes down the road. We parked, got our things together then walked to rent a spade to dig our own hot water pool.
