They have been packed out all summer & they were turning people away today, but we got there early to buy them off the guard as they with hold about 40 for visitors. What a treat staying with this elderly couple for 3 nights, She was 81 & still doing a fine B&B. Her daughter is living in Adelaide for 2 years with her husbands work. She's coming home for Christmas & mum is so pleased. She gave us haggis, reassuring us it was from the butcher & tasted a lot better than the other we had. She was right, so if you want to try it, the best one is from the butcher.

This lone Scottish Piper was playing & then eventually joined by 2 others that were passing by. I was gob smacked by the sight of this, we came around the corner of this mountain in the misty rain & heard this before us. It's a precious memory that will stay with me forever.

Hamish, his wife Harriet & Honey the baby are the name of these given to these highland cows that pose & play up to the visitors, but unfortunately it was feed time & they didn't want to know us. We drove from Abington past Glasgow & had lunch at this pub in Aberfoyle. It was nice with the fire going as it is getting colder.As summer is finished here I am picking up some good quality blouses at great prices. We are noticing everything is reasonably priced with the dollar the way it is. We are staying in a great B&B tonight in Callander which is in the national park beside Loch Lamond. It's called Corriemar & it's 1st class.
