Highclere Castle or Downton Abbey as it is on TV.
The sign said, the castle & grounds were closed to visitors today, but Bob didn't want to see that, so he drove past 2 of them. There's one rule for the Bears & another for every one else. As he said " what are they going to do to us ". I was thinking free board & lodgings for a couple of nights & not in the castle either. I must admit, I'm glad he did it , it was very beautiful, so majestic in the serene surroundings. There wasn't a sound, surrounded by trees that were hundreds of years old. We wouldn't have experienced that if it had been open to the public.
Karen msg at 3.15 this morning that she got on a straight through flight so we're off to London to pick her up.
