From Whitby to Harrogate we passed Goathland which is Aidensfield in Heartbeat. They finished filming there 3 years ago but it was still full of fans (Including me). It cost £28 for the two of us to go to Pickering & back on the steam train so we drove. It's only a couple of stations away, I couldn't justify it. We went in '97 so that will do us. This is Saint Giles Cathedral, Scotland's answer to the Sistine Chapel in Rome. They didn't skimp on any of these buildings, they're absolutely beautiful.
