After our visit to Wave Rock, we drove down through Lake King and camped at a roadside stop - Overshot Hill Nature Reserve. It is a really large area and we were the first ones there for the night so had the pick of the spots. We chose the one furtherest away from the road (as you do when you have the chance) and set up camp and had a fire to toast marshmallows.

The farmers in the field next door were harvesting their wheat and we watched the threshers for a while working in the dark hoping they would finish soon. they did and we had one of the quietest nights in the trip.
