Stayed the nght in Derby where the tides change is a massive 12 metres! We went out to the jetty at both low and high tide and the change is incredible.
The NRL Final was on today so Steve went to the pub and watched Melbourne Storm beat Canterbury Bulldogs - yay! while Gracie and I went to the local pool for a swim. Gracie swam (sort of ) the full length and back again of the 25 m pool.
We looked at the Boab Prison Tree which was used as a prison for the Aborigines many years ago when the white people used them for slaves and made them work for them. Near the Prison Tree there is a really long bullock trough which is 120 feet long and can water 200 bullocks at a time. It used to fill from a bore that was sunk to 60 feet but is now filled by a windmill.
