The Merchants Of OZ!
We left Denham yesterday and headed south again. We stopped in at Shell Beach which is made up of thousands of tiny cockle shells. They are always washing ashore and are regarded as a replenishing resource so they are taken off the beach for uses such as being ground down and put in chicken feed to make the shells hard.
We camped the night at Galena Bridge Rest Area on the Murchison River. There were some beautiful black swans and other birds.
We visited Kalbarri National Park and went to a few of the lookouts in the National Park - Hawks Head, Ross Graham, Z Bend and the Loop where Nature's Window is. The window is a natural hole in the rock formation. Great views of the Murchison River.
