Monday 1st - Arrived in Broome and went to the information centre. Got lots of info about the area and drove around to choose a caravan park. We ended up near Cable beach as this ine had a pool.
Had a swim with lots of tomato jellyfish at Cable Beach. It is very salty water but a blue we don't get in Sydney.
Tuesday 2nd - Got up early this morning to drive up to Gantheaume Point to look at the dinosaur footprints at low tide. There are a few sets of prints but we only really saw one which look great once you know where to find them. The other footprints blend into the rocks and just look like big potholes in the rocks.
We did a tour of the old Pearl Luggers. It was really interesting and Gracie tried on the weight boots that the divers used to wear that are 10 kg each boot! Gracie got to hold a pearl worth $120,000.
This afternoon we went on a camel ride. Gracie and I had the lead camel called Malachi and Steve was behind us on Moost've. Gracie fed the camels a carrot after the ride.
Wednesday 3rd - Tonight we went to Sun Pictures in Broome. It is the oldest open air cinema in the world having opened in 1917. We sat on deck chairs and saw Madagascar 3.
Thursday 4th - After some shopping, we had a relaxing day by the pool.
