We arrived at Yallingup in a drizzle of rain but managed to get the van parked and set up without getting too wet. This is a small caravan park and the roads are really narrow so not a lot of room to put the van in position.
We went for a short drive to have a look at the area. At Smith's Beach we saw a couple of whales - a mother and calf and Canal Rocks are very unusual with water flowing in between them just like canals!
On Sunday we went for a longer drive and went to a really nice winery - Driftwood Estate Winery. Had a look at Cape Naturaliste but didn't climb the lighthouse here. We had a swim at the beach and Steve pulled Gracie on her new boogie board n the wet sand. Gracie would have kept going all day except she started to get cold! Spoilt ourselves with an ice cream from Simmo's Icecreamery as recommended by Robyn, Andrew and Ned whom we met at Karijini NP.
