So we got the train to Mangalore from Canacona station in Goa which was tiny, the train tickets were only 50RS each and you could sit where you wanted. We arrived in Hospet alot earlier than we expected on the overnight bus from Hyderabad. We got an autorickshaw to take us to Hampi. The drive there was lovely, it was early morning so it was nice and cool, there were big palm trees, sugarcane fields and paddy fields-lovely.
