Hi all I am in the good old Melbourne Australia woo hoo, it is lush! i have been here one week today and my tan is top flipping notch!! as if i could get any browner since asia? I swear I have like I am so impressed at how healthy I am looking especially when it is clearly the most unhealthy I have ever been in my life! ha! anyways its no time for australian stories as i havent finished off my blogs about Malaysia have I so here goes... from the last one!

Me, Our Rose and Dee got up for a nice days shopping in KLCC which is Kuala Lumper Convention Centre... basically its where the Petronas Towers are! so we gets there its super hot of course! and we go to book our tickets to go up the twin towers but we find there is only availablity for us lot at 5.30pm as they had sold out for all the other times! so we quickly got that booked up and we got to business in the shopping malls, KL is like shopping heaven its amazing how much malls, markets etc there is everywhere. its amazing! So we did a bit shop shop and then we decided it was time for some food so we hit the streets looking for a dirty food stall or something that looked so bad it would be amazing. we of course ended up finding an amazing canteen type place, it was obviously help yourself and it was rammed full of the locals! business women, builders, average tramps, ladies who lunch etc everyone was there so in we went! we were issued with our plate of rice from a lovely old lady bless her and off we went down the school canteen line of amazing food. Of course we had no idea what any of it actually was so we just helped ourselves to some amazing culinary delights of malaysian curries and some weird spicy potato things and POPPADOMS oooh yeah! happy days indeed for me as i love them bad boys. they were amazing. anyways we all filled our plates sky high full of these delights and with water it cost 2 english pounds!! amazing! and it was all lush i was well happily stuffed with food!! really nice to get different asian flavours too as i was sick of thai food remember but these dishes were totally different flavours i was so impressed! i would go back tomorrow (if it wasnt a 8 hour flight...)

anyways back to shopping, Our Rose (crazy rose) had got it in her head she really NEEDED a paul smith towel! so she saw one on sale but didnt get it as she wanted to compare prices everywhere, so we found another paul smith shop and they had a towel but it was diff but it was even cheaper but she didnt want that one.so basically for the next 2 days all me n dee heard was 'DO YOU HAVE PAUL SMITH' in every shop we went in haha. as far as i know she never got one yet... she was driving us demented we did at least 5 miles extra walking for this damn towel haha! (love you Our Rose xx)

So after a full day on our feet, we went up the Petronas Towers, it was pretty exciting, they are beautiful towers up close, most sky scrapers arent good looking at all but these are gorgeous i must admit. you go up to the bit in the middle that connects them then you go right to the top (well not really the top but almost) you got loadsa time up there too it wasnt rushed and it wasnt rammed hence the ticket times so it was really good well worth it, and the views were amazing!! after that we had decided to go to traders hotel for a drink to get a good view of the towers on the night and since we were in the city we decided we wouldnt be going back home until we'd been, so whilst waiting for the darkness to set in we asked a 'nice lady' where we could go for cheap shopping as KL proper malls are expensive! she sent us to this place on the monorail which was amazing... it was a islamist/muslim mall, which is fair enough to visit if you are one but we clearly werent i mean surely she could see how short my skirt was? silly lady!! so off we went trooping round it all very confused how we ended up there, we ended up going in some weird antique type shop for hours that i beleive we were lost in. it freaked me out. i was happy to leave there!! we then went on a massive trek to get to traders via car parks, forests etc but an hour in and we made it! we then realised turning up in our best backpacker outfits flip flops included might not have been the best idea. i had my bloody beer lao top on for gods sake! but never mind we went in there head held high and went straight to the top the bar is called Sky Bar and its amazing for the views!! Obviously we hadnt reserved so we didnt get a seat in the window looking at the view but we walked all along glaring at people who had the good seats. there was a solo man at a table for 4 right in the window and i debated going to chat him up but decided against it so we gave him a few of our best geordie nasties and next thing you know hes right in front of us!! he offered us to come sit with him as he saw our evils, he said he was going when he finished his drink so we could join him then steal his table. what a nice guy, Ben from Australia so off we went to join our new date for the night, the daquiris were cheap in there until 9 so we had a fair few, then Ben decided he wasnt going back yet and stayed out with us all night as bloody loved our crack obviously! he was lovely though and we had some good old chats with him about everything under the sun! nice man he even got the drinks in bless him! by the time we left we realised we hadnt ate since our school dinner so we were starving! so after we got back to chinatown me and dee went on a mcdonalds hunt while Our Rose went for some lovely noodle soup from the streets! when i got back in my lovely lovely hostel that stunk so bad, I met some of my roomies properly one was called Jingle she became my best malaysian friend, she was taking part in some reality tv show about busking - in fact my whole room where. so im convinced she is going to be hugely famous and I can maybe sell a story on her!! she was lush though bless her!!

The next day we woke up all pretty late, so when we eventually went out we had missed breakfast! as my parcel still hadnt turned up in Oz with all my good clothes in I saw H&M and went a bit mental and got myself 2 dresses, 3 tops, skirt and maybe other stuff only spend 50quid tho but figured since Oz dont have H&M and their clothes are expensive best to buy them then instead of in Oz! obviously 1 hour after getting to KL airport on route to melbourne my stuff turned up! FFS! nevermind tho now i have many lovely clothes haha. after a days shop shop in some proper malls we decided to go back to the SKY Bar as we noticed it was free margaritas for ladies tonight the night before so we went back got ready this time i put my best pink backpacker dress on and me n our Rose hit the toon!! Dee had a night in bless her! so we got to sky bar hit as many free margaritas as we could manage i then discovered a window seat and we were promoted there including the sign saying 'im taken' haha bloody loved it! we then paid for another cocktail before heading to changkat bukit bintang street which was bar street essentially! i met a lovely man from iran who was like 'what is the meaning of travel?' when i told him i was a backpacker so i told him 'to live' DOH! then i explained even Hans Christian Andersen thought so and he was very clever man! unlike this douche bag! he then went on to show me all these pervy snaps of his niece who was like 20 he was about 45 what a dirty old man! we then met some nice young german boys who liked to salsa so we went to a havana bar with them and they taught us how to DANCE! well not me as some things are just never gonna happen. One showed Rose the moves though she was good! she then was hammered dancing away by herself copying another couple which was brilliant viewing!! i was so impressed i made a video which her and dee loved the next day when i gave it its first viewing!! we then blagged our way in to this fancy club called Elixer which was mint we danced our socks off like it was 1999!! amazing indeed!! then off we went home shattered and a bit tipsy!! when i got back Jingle was up she recommended if I like KL i need to visit Taipei in Taiwan as she says best city ever!! and she had similar views to mine on other asian cities so i think i may take her advice on that one day!!

last day in malaysia and we went shopping round petalling street market! i got some nike running shoes for 9 quid! well impressed so i cant wait to hit the streets of melbourne now! it was by far the hottest day ever in KL so after a bit wander i went back to Rose n Dees room for a nap n shower before i left. Rose did a bit backpacking n carried my bag to the station for me and then it was many hugs n kisses from them both when i departed for the last time from my british ladies!! at the airport there was a sign i think stating capital punishment would apply if you broke the liquid rules on the planes as they wouldnt even let you take water from the shop in the airport on the plane. uh oh thats a bit ragde innit?

Malaysia is over with here... next stop Melbourne, Australia!
