Had a quick breakfast before my first open water dives in which I performed all the skills quite comfortably, just a lot deeper underwater! On the two dives though I actually got to see the marine life and saw a big octopus changing colour, loads of fish (including the poisonous and difficult-to-see stonefish), cuttlefish, pufferfish, eels and more.
After my two dives I was given the task or should I say opportunity to trim Jack's hair. Oops. I was doing a fairly good job with the shaver and scissors neatly trimming it down but at the back jack asked me to take the clippers off and I accidentally shaved a chunk out of the back of his lower head. It left him with a bit of a bald patch which everyone was laughing at but the rest of his barnet was looking fine! PJ tidied up my little accident though.
We enjoyed some more sun as the place was still a little quiet before Jack interrupted me chatting to some travelling Americans because he had come across a dying bush snake. Later in the evening we found a big crab lurking by the pool.
