19/3/2011 Quick flight from Cape Town to Jo'burg after being sent off by Maureen and Christo. Had booked Airport Backpackers in advance so retro 'Gerard' with his pipe, long hair and long cap came and fetched us almost immediately. 2/3/11 Chilled most the day and visited the Indian High Commission (as we needed to get a visa) but it was closed. Jack had a trim and I went and had my camera repaired for a whopping 60 quid! 1/3/2011 Kicked out of bed by 11 as we said we were only staying one night but we changed our mind to keep Mike company! We slobbed about for the day and booked a car between four of us (1 of the Kiwis), and ate cheap burewurs and chicken rolls for breakfast. 27/2/2011 Up early so we could hit the road and bash out the 450 kilometres to Cape Town. Beautiful scenice drive through desert-like countryside, wineries, huge mountains and hills.
