Another early rise and I filled in some more of my dive book.At least today was more laid back making hot dogs on the beach (though only one person bought one) and selling drinks. We had plenty of time to blare out Jack's iPod from some speakers which you could hear whilst out snorkelling!
Enjoyed the sun and saw maybe up to 100 different types of fish along with tonnes of jellyfish (of which I was stabbing with sticks and called the sport jellyfish spearing). Also came across a cuttlefish, triggerfish, clownfish and massive schools of fish being hunted by barracuda and needlefish. I gracefully (not) scythed through the water next to these predators as they hunted. The barracuda are supposed to have a b***** of a bite but they swim quickly away from you. However, the needlefish, with needle-like mouths hence the name, didn't budge as easily and at one point one darted towards me hunting fish and nearly hit my goggles!
Chatted with Tony and Diane, a lovely South African couple before kloofing (jumping in off of rocks) into the water. I then decided to annoy a massive crab with astick and watched the flying fish pop out of the water in the forefront of the orange sunset.
Little work in the evening, so out came the cards and a double Famous Grouse.
