Snorkelling again I came across more barracuda and plenty of fish. The cornetfish is a relatively new one, really thing but not very long, hovering above the reeds on the shallow bottoms.

Today we went to the town of Nacala for the very first time, experiencing the local market. Purchased some nutty-flapjack-looking things that were very sugary for 10p but not so nice. The internet café was crap and then back at Libelula I sliced my finger cleaning glass picture frames. Spent the afternoon sunning, snorkelling and kloofing before Jack demolished me at chess whilst we waited for customers for dinner.

Ian and PJ bought a projector and decided to make a white screen to project over the pool for film nights. The first success was Happy Gilmore.

On nature watch, found stick insect and praying mantis in the kitchen, they are cool, alien-looking creatures. Just wait until you see a mantis' eyes!
