Later start today and me and Martijn finished the linseed oiling whilst Captain Jack had to fix the toilet, only to inhabit a baby scorpion on his leg.
Then Jacko and I spent the majority of the day painting a toilet red-right to the roof. Bad news for me was that the roof was about 15 feet high and made of tin. With the temperature about 42oC, stood on a ladder painting and my head at the roof, I dripped with sweat. Weirdly, I wasn't uncomfortable as I love the heat and just got on with the work. Rolling and painting the walls, Jack felt dripping on him and was rollicking me for dripping paint. However, was a bit ofa mixture of sweat and paint…..haha.
Breaking the painting up with showers made it ok but we were looking forward to finishing the job! Treated with food again, cheese and tomato rolls for brekkie, sausage and chips for lunch followed by Chinese chicken and noodle stir-fry was a good day's food, well compared to the last few weeks!
Jack was tired and had a nap but I went out for an evening snorkel in the sinking sunshine. Saw another few new types of fish, one of which about a foot long and almost transparent!
Assisted the owners in doing a few more bits and bobs, but as seen as there were no customers, we played cards and chess. It was looking a bit daunting as it seemed unlikely that they would be able to stay in business.
