So today was a very long day. We woke about 7:00am and headed to Punakaiki to see the pancake rocks and blowholes. The morning drive went great and we were there in no time. We Passed through a orchid of pears, apples, cherries and grapes and lots of vineyards. Before starting our track through buller gorge. there were some increasable views. However we have now decided that I am not allowed to Make anymore tourist decisions because we started on flat ground when we left Picton and became higher and higher as we drove through the gorge Until we reached the pancake rocks and blow holes. Holy crap more scarry s***. To get to the pancake rocks and blow holes Mum had to cox me over a bridge that was really, really high. She told me to look at her and keep walking and don't look down. You kiddin me when someone says that you automatically have to look down. But I did it. Even after getting over the bridge the going wasn't easy. Mum was very proud of me even though I was crappin myself. It took a while but I did get there in the end. It was really beautiful but scary. We had to walk through rainforest to get back to the car. The girl at the info place said that it was a easy drive down. Bull s**t because we were so high up it was all down hill and around cliff faces. Thank god we are finally at the motel. I hope the rain stops cause tomorrow I am going to look for jade on the beach. I hope I'm lucky.
