Ok so today started really early. I think that I need to buy a eye mask for mum so she doesn't get up with the birds. Today we headed to Te Anau. On the way mum commented on how cute and soft the lambs must be and i said "we should go and ask a farmer if they can cut one up and cook it for us." mum's jaw hit the ground. I have officially rendered her speechless. It was a good drive and we got there in no time at all. When we got here we Booked into our motel, unpacked and went straight to the wharf. We paid and then went and had some wedges, sour cream and sweet chilli sauce. While there we asked where we could get some cd's to burn our pics onto. The waiter said that she had some at home that we could have and to come back after our tour and she would have them there for us. So we went on our tour. We got on the boat and were cruising along the water when the pilot said that everyone should go up-deck to see the view. Then when no one moved he stopped the boat. So everyone went up-deck and we resumed our journey. When we got to the island we went to the visitors centre before going to the caves. Once we went through the safety info we headed out. We got to the caves and we got our pic done before going in. The chick was eyeing my camera. Mine was bigger lol. Anyway when you go into the cave you need to crouch down very low because the entry is only about a meter high. When we went through we had to walk on a form of scaffolding at different levels. I did fine going in and getting to the waterfall. But then we had to go up a flight of stairs and had to walk around the side of a wall where they had made a path half way up the wall and it was just above the waterfall. Mum hated being on the scaffolding and move fast and left me behind and high up in the air. I did not take this well. I finally got to the end of the path and I started shaking and started to cry. I was s***ting myself. After calming down I got into a little boat where there were double seating in the middle of the boat so me and mum had to sit back to back. I was then lovin the sight of the glow worms. It was really beautiful. To think that nature could make something look so unbelievable. It was then mum's turn to s*** herself. She hated the boat ride. Cause they kept moving sideways and mum was worried about falling out in the dark. We finally got out of the cave and back on the boat back to Te Anau. We went back to the motel. The motel owner is putting our pics on CD's and have lent me binoculars for our trip to Milford Sounds tomorrow. All for now.
