Greetz from Sydney once again. Well my friends, now it is certain. I have myself a new home. That's in Surry Hills/Darlinghurst, Sydney. Fourth floor of the apartment building you see in the picture. The building used to be a Fours Seasons hotel and later on they've made it into a regular apartment building. I signed the lease today and will get the keys tomorrow. Should have electricity by wednesday and a functioning broadband internet connection in a week or so. There's no cable in the building so this is not going to be as easy as with the awesome Finnish Welho...I'm going to have to get some crocodile dundee to install it for me and pay a lot of money in the process.

I already went to the local K-Mart to buy a lot of stuff I need but it's funny how you always forget something. We'll see how much junk I am able to fit into that small flat. Everything ought to be in order by thursday, as that's when the planned house-warming party will take place! Right there on the roof...the weather permitting of course. I noticed that liquor and beer are fairly cheap here and you know what that means! TO P__________. (Please fill in the missing letters)

As a sidenote I must say that I am still not used to the left hand traffic. Every time I cross the street I look the wrong way first. Don't be surprised if I'm posting these entries from a local hospital in the near future. Funny thing is that the left hand traffic does not apply just for cars...they even follow that pattern on escalators and elevators! You get some pretty pissed off comments if you're standing on the wrong side...I will have to do some mind reprogramming.
