Today I went and did a camel ride on the beach at sunset. I had ridden camels before in both Spain and Tunisia and I knew it wasn't too comfortable but I was hoping this one would be different somehow since its an hour ride on the beach.

I arrived early to take a look around Cable beach and it is beautiful. White sands and turquoise blue waters. I went over to the camel company and got to have my picture taken with one of the friendly camels before we got under way. I have to admit that I got a little bit bored on the camel ride but not enough to be able to sleep on one lol. The sun seems to set really quickly here and it wasn't long before we were in the dark again. I collected my photograph (which I will have to scan in at some point) and drove back to the hostel. Was a nice chilled out end to the day.
