So week 3 of living in China and what can I say apart from I am loving it although I do miss the family and friends but lets be realistic here....they have no excuse not to come and visit me in Beijing. Well I have found a driver, he doesn't speak alot of English in fact none, i know more Chinese words than he knows English, however he is taking me up to the Great Wall this weekend and hopefully when I get those visitors he will be taking them to places as well....

Well I guess isn't as interesting as when you are travelling around but at least you get to know a city really well if you live here or at least you think you would. So have been in Beijing for almost a week now with odd trip out to other cities. I went to see my new apartment yesterday and its totally amazing is the only way that I can describe it. Not only do we get an apartment, we get to use the clubhouse and all the facilities there: swimming, gym, tennis, saunas etc......totally brilliant. Next stop was the local Supermarket which sold loads of English stuff as well which at the moment i'm not missing but in a months...

Day 2 My trip to Tianjin for my medical.
