So an eventful day in the gorge yesterday, totally mind blowing is all I can say. I got dropped of at Tinas guest house which is the middle part of the gorge. Opted to hike back the way the bus had bought me and found that I was the only person doing it this way oh well good to be different I feel. So have come down from the heights of altitude sickness and stopped of at lijiang for a spot of hiking at tiger leaping gorge. Bus journey down was interesting especially with altitude sickness on the go, this wasn't helped by the 2 toddlers that were sick in the bin a few times in 4 hours. So i know i am not in hasa but I have been to a Tibetan monastery today that is very similar to the one there. Shangri la is awesome thats all I can say. The Tibetan people are lovely and very warm as well as friendly even though they haven't got a clue what I am chirping about.
