A big sleep in this morning as we were all absolutely shattered from Venice. We got up and had some food and then booked some more train tickets to head to Monterosso (the coast) on Monday, and Florence on Wednesday. Then we had more pasta for lunch!

We all had a bit of a nap after lunch and then we got up and headed to Greta’s house for the afternoon for a swim in her pool. 36 degrees doesn’t feel too hot when you’ve got a pool to swim in! We swum all afternoon and at about 7pm Irene called in to say hello, it was good to see her again! We sat on the deck talking for a bit until the pizzas arrived and then it was time for pizza dinner. Navajo got to try her first pizza with fries on it! I’m definitely a fan of them!

We sat around talking with Cecilia, Greta and Vittoria for a lot of the night, and had some Italian cake for pudding - it was very cute and said to our times together on the top.

Navajo and I headed home around 11pm as I wasn’t feeling very well and we were both pretty tired and ready for sleep.
