Another early morning, quick shower and pack bags and then hit the road to start the four hour drive back to London.

After an hour of crazy narrow British roads we were back on the motorway and had a quick stop for food at the services.

We made it into Heathrow with plenty of time, dropped off the rental car and headed into the terminal. We were all able to check in early so we headed through and had a snack, drink and a final yarn and laugh before mum and dad headed on their flight to Spain.

The two of us spent a couple hours looking round the airport then we went the gate to board - though we were delayed 15 minutes.

We finally landed and made our way quickly through customs before waiting forever to get our bags! Then we eventually made our way out to see my family. It was so so so exciting! After 4 years of being here, we were all so excited! Then we headed to the car and hit the road. With a quick stop on the road for some food we made it back to Parma around 12:30am. We drove down the Main Street for a look at night and then headed back out to Basilicanova! Rocco (the dog) still remembered me! Navajo was a bit shocked at this point with how different everything was, and all the Italian speaking.

It was time to call it a night so we headed up stairs to bed, ready for a sleep in.
