After our previous Kayak disaster we thought that today might be a good day for another attempt. The day was sunny with no wind so we launched the Kayaks from the boat ramp near our camp. The water was like glass with lovely reflections and we paddled across the lake towards the Botanical Gardens. There were a couple of Pelicans down there who weren’t too worried about our presence.

Back across the lake again and to the van in time for morning coffee. The Botanical Gardens looked nice from the water so we decided to visit them in person which was pleasant. Back to the van again for lunch and off to Mooloolaba for afternoon coffee with one our friends, Stephanie, who we hadn’t seen for a while. It was lovely to see her and catch up on all her news before returning to the van again for the night.
