Paul and Lisa's 2019 Caravan Adventure
On the road by 8:00am heading for Lightning Ridge via Narrabri and Walgett, a distance of 247 km. It was so dry in most places, especially west of Narrabri. There was an interesting exhibition on at Narrabri on the history of the Sea Container which was housed in several containers. It is amazingly flat out here and very dry. No water in some of the rivers that we crossed. Arrived at Lightning Ridge about 4:00pm, got set up, (back to front as we had all our services on the wrong side of the van but couldn’t be bothered turning it around!) then went to see Mel and Susie, 2 country ladies that do great stand up comedy and bush poetry. Very funny, so glad we went. (was on at the Opal Caravan Park where we are staying)
