The weather has finally warmed up a bit so it's perfect for exploring London. The plan for today is Hyde Park, Buckingham Palace and the shopping district at Piccadilly Circus and Oxford Street. We hired bikes and pedaled around the bike paths at Hyde Park before walking to Wellington Arch and Buckingham Palace. On our way down to the palace we watched the full rehearsal for the Trooping of the Colour - a royal ceremonial event that occurs infrequently so we just happened to be in the right place at the right time - again! We visited Selfidges in Oxford Street then onto Trafalgar Square. We walked to Lincolns Inn Fields and visited the Huntarian Museum at the Royal College of Surgeons, famous for its medical specimens while Chris and Di went to the National Gallery. We went back to Trafalgar Square to meet Jordan and Ashleigh for dinner. They are both looking very well. We had a lovely meal and caught up with all their news.
