The Great Western Railway took us from Worthing to Taunton this morning. No problems on this train but most of the Southern Rail services to Taunton were delayed or cancelled. We had a very helpful taxi driver who took us from Taunton Train Station to Europcar where we collected a Ford Focus for our 3 day trip to Cornwall. We managed to fit our luggage in with no room wasted! The narrow streets with cars parked on both sides made for interesting driving. Dianne's great grandfather owned what is now Wetlands and Willows in Taunton. Some of the Coate family still own and run the farm which specializes in willow basket ware and is open to the public. We had lunch in the cafe and walked one of the walking trails on the property.
