The weather is looking fine today. We decided to leave our accommodation at 10am and walk to the train station where we could leave our suitcases in lockers ready to collect when it was time to go to the airport. I realised I had misplaced my good drink bottle so I jogged back to our accommodation to look for it. Luckily I had left it sitting outside the gate and it was still there. Today it rained. And rained. And rained. We got wet! But we are on holiday so can't let a bit (lot) of rain stop us. We walked from our accommodation into the city. Took about 10 minutes. We found the local travel information centre and got some info on what to do. All good plans but the rain put a dampener on things. We started today with breakfast at the hostel. It was very nice earring breakfast in such nice surroundings. We packed our bags and left them at the hostel as our train for Oslo left at 13:07. Our last kayaking day today. After breakfast we dismantled our camp and packed up our gear, tents,sleeping bags, mattresses and all the plates, utensils and left over food and like tetras packed it all back into the kayaks. The weather was fine and very calm which was nice. After about 3 hours of paddling on the fjord we pulled into a beach for lunch. We started from our camping ground at Dyrdal on the Fjord to hike up the mountains. We were woken at 8am for a 9am start. I know 8am sounds late but I was very reluctant to wake up and get out of my sleeping bag. I was really glad I slept well and didn't need to make a trip to the long drop in the night.
