A week has passed since we arrived in the UK. We caught the train to Chichester, a Cathedral town that dates back over 1000 years. About 4 stops into the journey the train pulled into a station and an announcement came over the PA that the train was terminating at the station due to a lack of Conductors!! We got off the train and along with lots of other people strops somewhat perplexed until they announced the next train would take us to Chichester. After it departed another announcement said the train wouldn't be stopping for several stops so that it could get back on its timetable! Not sure what happened to people needing to get off at those stops! We have been so lucky with the weather so far. It has been fine and warm all day. We had a great lunch at a cafe inside the Cathedral where we could see the pelegrines flying into one of the turrets. We wandered around the town for a while and hoped we would be able to get a train back to Worthing. Luckily we did and luckily the PA announcing the station was loud as I fell asleep!
