The train trip from London to Worthing went smoothly despite train cancelations due to conductor illness. After a brief exploration of Worthing and the pier we caught the train to Arundel which was about 30 minutes away on the train. We walked around Swanbourne Lake and stopped for a drink at the Black Rabbit. Although the castle wasn't open it is still a magnificent sight from the outside. After looking at Arundel Cathedral we headed back to Worthing. The return trip took ages as so many trains were cancelled or delayed. We had dinner at the hotel.
