Gavin started the day by hauling our suitcase down 4 flights of stairs. Did I mention that our room was up 4 flights and no lift? He had a full cooked breakfast at the original guest house. I had my own cereal and yoghurt before we left as I had my dentist appointment early. The dentist went well and I had a temporary filling put in to last me until I get home. £71 later. We went up to the shops and I posted our London Oyster cards to Jordan. Stupid system where we could only get cash back if the unused portion was under £10. And could only get the money back online to a British bank account! No mention of that when we bought them. At least they won't go to waste. The owner of the guest house drove us to the airport for £30. No dramas dropping off our luggage. Plane is running a bit late. You know you are having a bad day when: Plane is delayed for 3 hours. Accommodation is cancelled 2 hours before checkin and there is a Paul McCartney concert in town so no one has any other accommodation available. Your bag doesn't turn up at the airport carousel. So we are going to spend the night sleeping at the airport and hopefully can get a hotel room for tomorrow night. And all the food we got on the plane was a tiny 60mm diameter roll and a tiny muffin. And the restaurants were shut when we finally got to Bergen airport.
