We went to the H.M.A.S Sydney Memorial in Geraldton which had a lot of symbolism in the design and was explained well throughout. In Greenough there are lots of trees leaning over in the fields due to the frequent strong wings they get. We set up camp at Jurien Bay Recreation Reserve. It was a great place. Good size campsites and good lookouts at the top of the hill.

We stayed out most of the day to avoid all the flies as well as there was plenty to fill our day with sightseeing. We then went to Kalbarri National Park where we saw a goanna and a really interesting beetle walking across the road that looked like it had some intense armour. We did the short walk to Nature's Window which was only 1km return on a cemented path. There were great views over the winding river and lots of wildflowers. We first went to Shell Beach which is full of cockle shells. It is one of only two beaches in the world entirely made out of shells. They reach an average depth of around 7-10m and form limestone. Just after leaving Shell Beach we passed through the feral animal fence. When you drive slowly through it, you can hear the sound of dogs barking coming out of a speaker. It was a very short drive to our next camp at Eagle Bluff. You can only book to camp here on the same day and they only allow 4 campers here. They said it is because it is not very big but when we arrived it was a huge area. These camps are quite often booked out but we ended up being the only one's there the whole night which was nice.
